powerful burst of energy. The Fusion Cannon's power is
derived from a stream of excited tritium and deuterium
nuclei that are projected at the target. The nuclei are
then fused into helium, releasing tremendous energy at
the moment of impact. After the fusion beam is fired,
the weapon requires a cooling phase before it can be
charged to fire again.
