United Orcs Diplomatic Service
The United Orcs Diplomatic Service (UODS) was a department of the United Orcs (UO) established during the late Second Age. It served as a diplomatic corps for the UO, implementing the UO Common Interstellar and Security Policy. The UODS was technically under the authority of the Royal Space Administration (RSA), although it had a separate budget.
The UODS managed the UO's response to crises and the follow-ups to First Contact situations, had intelligence capabilities and cooperated with the United Orcs Commissionary Assembly in areas which it shared competence with. However, although the Diplomatic Service could prepare initiatives, the RSA and the Commission made the final policy decisions. The UODS had desks dedicated to many major colonies and regional organisations in the galaxy, and specialised units for commerce and defence.
They typically settled disputes between member and non-member worlds, supervised the UO admissions process and served as liaisons with allied planets, making them the focus of attention. This front-line work could often be both physically and emotionally demanding.
The UODS also included departments for security, strategic policy planning, legal affairs, inter-institutional relations, information and public diplomacy, internal audit and inspections, and personal data protection.

Verg Bloodreaver was the Executive Secretary-General, a post responsible for the day to day running of the UODS. Denik Vonjizeek was the chief operating officer of the UODS.

Delegations
The UO embassy aboard the Peace Station was one of the most significant delegations of the UODS. A major portion of the Service's budget also went to funding the operations of the Station.
