A Bacterian destroyer type, Xaja class destroyers are heavily armed and extremely dangerous, with a plethora of Sunfire plasma turrets and two full squadrons of Virulence class fighters and bombers. They are over two kilometers in diameter and can carry two full Heavy Mechanized divisions. Its only weakness is the large and relatively weak engine subsystem, which can be neutralized by a well placed assault.
Known vessels of this type include the BES Xaja, BES Hailstorm and BES Melkirth.
