The Universe is everything that exists, including the planets, stars, galaxies, and all that they contain; the entire cosmos.

Size

The radius of the observable universe is about 46 billion light-years (half of diameter). The expansion of space allows us to see farther than if it were not to expand.

The current size of the Universe is estimated to be at least 160 billion light years in diameter. Cosmological subspace radar readings suggest it may be much larger, but this is impossible to measure with any accuracy.
