Great Sea

The Great Sea was a major ocean on Orceron. It was the birthplace of the predecessors to the Hemmoian species.

Apparently, the Hemmoians evolved from single cell sea-based lifeforms into simple, fungal growths in the bottom of the Great Sea, slowly advancing in the food chain. The Hemmoian population rose from the Great Sea eventually and continued their existance as land-based life forms known as Terrahemmionids. Eventually they evolved the ability to communicate, then to move out of necessity and finally form a civilization.

The Ancient Hemmoians inhabited the vast forests of CCHemmo, a secluded island continent in the middle of the Great Sea, and it took some time for them to locate the mainland and establish contact with the Orcs. The Orcs, however, thought the Hemmoians were non-sentient plants of some sort for some time before realizing the Hemmoians tried to communicate.
