A common term for any non-realspace environment a starship might perform a "jump" into in order to facilitate FTL travel. This includes hyperspace and subspace, as well as dimensions outside our own space-time continuum such as the Portal Dimension or the Nexus Dimension.

Use in space combat

There are many space combat maneuvres making use of jumpspace, including the Micro Jump and the Jump Space Ambush.
