The Fountain of Ninnigal is a soft gamma repeater (SGR), located in the Super-Nova Remnant (SNR) 0525-66.1, otherwise known as the Utuk Cenotaph, in the Bacterian Home Galaxy.

The core of the original star, which lies deep within this cloud of gases, is a neutron star that is spinning at the blinding speed of one revolution every eight seconds. Its powerful magnetic field puts it in the rare category of “magnetars”. This magnetar hurtles through the supernova debris cloud at over 1,200 kilometers per second.

It is also known as SGR 0525-66 in some star maps.
