UOV Starbuilder One

A Riletian mobile shipyard platform constructed at the end of the Second Age, the UOV Starbuilder One operated outside the Rilet system, assisting with orbital repairs and construction projects in many Riletian and UO colonies. The captain of the vessel was Zernok Ïesne-Teeler from Rilet 2, who later became the acting captain of the HemmoCruiser III.

As the First Bacterian War began, the Starbuilder fled into interstellar space and eventually reached Mining Station P-68749, now known as the Refuge, the final rallying point of remaining UO forces.

The Starbuilder was disassembled in orbit and its molecular furnace turned into a surface based drydock facility. The industrial facilities of Starbuilder One combined with the material resources of the mining station turned the world into a powerful starship production plant. The end result was the massive sleeper colony vessel HemmoCruiser III, designed to escape the Galaxy altogether.

Large sections of the Starbuilder's hull, as well as its Type 3 Riletian Energy Shield, were recycled in the HemmoCruiser. The bridge of the HemmoCruiser was also a modified version of the Starbuilder's.
