HV 2112

A peculiar red supergiant in the Small Magellanic Cloud, HV 2112 exhibits characteristics of a TZO - two stars in one. The star consists of a binary pair where a super-dense neutron star has been absorbed into its less dense supergiant partner, and from within it operates its exotic elemental forge. This is revealed by spectroscopic analysis of the star, revealing signatures of unusually high concentrations of heavy elements like molybdenum, rubidium, and lithium.
