Jump to navigationJump to searchA class VII globular cluster, NGC 5694 is one of the most remote globular clusters in the Galaxy at a distance of over 100,000 light-years. The globular does not appear to possess any variables. Traveling at 190 kilometers per second, the metal-poor cluster will eventually escape the gravitational reach of the Milky Way altogether.
