The troop drop ship invented by the Gigerdi Confederation, developed during the Timocracy war to transport troops as well as planetary assault vehicles from transports to planetary targets. The AA-79 has seats for 22 infantry troopers (roughly a platoons worth), plus 2 for the pilots. Some weapons were included so that it could clear out landing zones and defend itself during a troop delivering run.

These ships are no longer in active use by the Gigerdian military, but can be seen in museums and personal militias around the galaxy.
