Admiral (GA)

The rank of Admiral is a rank above Vice-Admiral and below Fleet Admiral in the GA Military. This rank is the second highest of the so-called "flag officer ranks".

Admirals are qualified to command several Battle Groups and may also obtain the necessary skills to command a single-sized fleet force. Admirals may not, however, command several fleets as Fleet Admirals do. Quite often Admirals are in command of battle stations, fleet support bases and such, as well. Currently two of the four commanding officers of the GA Superbases are Admirals.
