Alcor A

Jump to navigationJump to searchAlcor is a type A star, also known as 80 Ursae Majoris. The star may be gravitationally linked to the nearby Mizar system. The star has a dim red dwarf companion (Alcor B) in orbit (at a distance of approximately 25 AU) around the primary star. Alcor A is a bluish-white spectral type A5V star.
