Anti-matter cannons

A type of Ollapukkitian starship weapon, anti-matter cannons are magnetic delivery systems similar to railguns, designed for anti-matter projectiles. Included in the design of each such weapon is a triple-redundant containment unit for the anti-matter, preventing it from making contact with the actual mechanism. The units are also heavily radiation shielded in order to prevent anti-matter decay.

Due to the expensive nature of anti-matter, ammunition for each cannon is limited.
