Budsugao

The budsugao are mostly aquatic birds, found in both fresh water and sea water on the White Planet. The budsugao have a wide flat beak adapted for dredging. They exploit a variety of food sources such as grasses, aquatic plants, fish, insects, small amphibians, worms, and small molluscs. Some forage deep underwater; others feed on the surface of water or on land.
