Cadet (GA)

The rank of Cadet is held by all personnel transferring from the Gigerdi Alliance Military Academy into either full fleet or ground force service. This rank can only be achieved after receiving a commission to active service aboard a fleet vessel or a ground forces contingent. Cadets usually serve as the enlisted crew personnel aboard the vessels in their distinctive service branches. At some point in their service, they will be promoted to the rank of Ensign, 2nd Class.
