A major human civilization on planet Earth, existing in one shape or another for over five thousand local years on the continent of Asia. Many early human scientific breakthroughs were pioneered by the Chinese, and they later became the third civilization to engage in space-faring efforts and the establishment of first human space colonies.

Although the records are unclear, China may have been one of the major participants of the "Third World War" which caused the collapse of much of human civilization.
