Death Kapu
Death Kapu was the ultimate way of showing Kapu's new might in the galactic playground; a battle station that had maneuvering thrusters along with engines enabling it to move around. Kapu had plans to construct a Planet Killer Beam to this station of his, but luckily he never had the chance to complete it. Kapu started this ostentatious project right after he assumed the duties of the Governor of Bacterian territories.
The station itself was under construction in the orbit of a Bacterian colony world that Kapu had tranformed into a large penal colony; he used the occupants as slave labor to construct parts for the station which were then transported to the orbit for final assembly.
It didn't take long for the Gigerdian resistance movement led by Nix Balmorra to hear of the existence of a deadly battle station under the command of Kapu. The Bacterian and Gigerdian planners in the resistance brainstormed a plan to destroy the station since it's existance was a considerable threat for the liberation of Bacterian territories under Kapu's rule. A unified armada of renegade Gigerdian and Bacterian ships proceeded to destroy the station while it was still under construction in the orbit of the Bacterian colony world.
The ensuing battle was heavy but the Bacterians certainly proved that they fought the hardest on their own soil by destroying the station. Despite the station's partially functional defences , it could not hold out against a well planned assault of the scale that Nix Balmorra's forces had planned it on.
No technical data on the station is available since all of the blueprints and plans of the station vanished during disintegration of Kapu's empire at the end of the Gigerdian Civil War.
