Earth Hypergenome
The Earth Hypergenome is the hypergenome that developed on planet Earth.
History
The first forms of life in the hypergenome, microscopic living cells, began to evolve and flourish in the Earth's many volcanic environments some 3.8 billion years ago.
Primitive animals such as flatworms, jelly fish and algae first appeared around 700 000 000 years ago.
During the course of its evolution, the hypergenome has experienced several mass extinctions. The most recent mass extinctions were caused by the "Third World War", a nuclear conflict that devastated many areas of the Earth's surface.
Eventually, the hypergenome spread into space with human space travelers. Today, many species from this stock are cultivated all around the galaxy for agricultural purposes, or kept as pets.
