Moon of Jupiter, orbiting at a distance of 671 034 km. Its composition is similar to that of the inner planets of the solar system and has a rocky core. Europa has a thick layer of water ice that might be as thick as 60 km. Europa's surface is extremely smooth, there are very few features higher than a few hundred meters.
Remarkable streaks are seen on Europa, which are cracks on the surface.
