Frag Launcher

The Frag Launcher is a simple shoulder-fired launch platform for Frags, explosive projectiles with a huge blast radius. It was originally developed by the V'romo for use as the mainstay weapon of Combat Teams, and quickly found its way into Orcish arsenals.

A very rare rapid-fire version of the Impact Frag Launcher also exists.

Munition variants

There are four types of Frag projectiles: Impact Frags, Guided Frags, Time Frags and Cluster Frags.

Impact Frags explode on contact, while Time Frags explode after their fuse expires. Cluster Frags explode into a number of fragments.

The Guided Frag is a missile that is manually steered towards the intended target using IR imaging.

The Frag munition can also be thrown by hand, making use of the planet atmosphere to deliver single-shot tactical strikes on opponents. Strong winds and electromagnetic fields can affect the flight trajectory, however.
