Herschel's crater

The largest impact crater on Mimas, moon of Saturn. Named after the human who first discovered the moon, the giant crater is about 130 km wide and 10 km deep - The impact which created it must have nearly destroyed the moon. The Herschel crater has a central mountain around 15 kilometers in height, which is a relic from the impact. The moon in generally heavily cratered.
