Hibernix Sleeping Pills

The Hibernix Sleeping Pill, produced by the Hibernix Galacticum Corporation, was a highly effective sedative which was marketed as a "pill that will put you under the table instantly". This marketing slogan worked far too well, because once the person had swallowed the pill it caused him or her to lose consciousness and drop down immediately. The idea behind this pill was to reduce the "waiting time" of conventional sleeping pills to just seconds.

It did not work as predicted: many people unaware of the drastic effect of the pill had terrible accidents i.e. falling off bridges or getting their heads chopped off with industrial saws while taking the pills at their duty stations. There were also several cases in which people drowned on their cereal bowls or dinners. Shortly after the pill had been released on sale in the galactic markets, the company was forced to reclaim all of the remaining pills and stop the production entirely.
