Hull Repair Drone

Each unit can be set on automatic, although almost all are remotely controlled via telepresence/VR hookups. All drones constantly transmit their location and video feed to a central command post. Their primary function is to monitor and repair the exterior hull of their mother craft. However, over the years they have been used for less mundane activities (such as using one as a decoy to fool a enemy sensors).

Each Hull Repair Drone is typically equipped with two manipulators, a small store of universal tools, a vid camera, and a thruster pack.
