A star-forming region in the Milky Way Galaxy.

IRAS 16293-2422 protosystem

Around one of the young stars in IRAS 16293-2422, which hasn't been named yet, is a dust disk where the inner part rotates in the opposite direction than the outer part. It is quite reasonable that from this disk planets could form that will orbit in different directions. At least there is enough material in there.

Supposedly the star didn't evolve from one, but two gas clouds which counterrotated.
