Izar system

Jump to navigationJump to searchIzar is a binary system comprised of a bright yellowish orange giant distantly orbited by a lesser blue-white star which is still on the Main Sequence. The system is also known as Pulcherrima - "most beautiful" - due to the color contrast easily visible when the system is viewed through a telescope.
