The two innermost planets of the Kepler-56 system are "doomed worlds" in the next 150 million years. The size of the star will enlarge as it gets older and the tidal forces between the planets and their star will also cause them to slow down in their orbits and rip apart. Another gas giant planet called Kepler-56 d will remain safe from most of the chaos since it has a much wider orbit.
