Orceron Standard Time
Orceron Standard Time (OST) was a common way of measuring time among the Orcs of Orceron. In addition to the rotation and orbital period of the planet, this system also took into account the motion of Orceron's moons, as well as the second sun in the First Star system.
Despite its name, OST was very lax in its standardization. A day in this system was broken down into thirty components, except during leap hours, when a random hour would be omitted to accommodate the movements of Pallos. Several unmarked "bonus hours" were also known.
All in all, the system was very complicated and not many Orcs actually fully knew how it worked; it has been theorized the only reason so many Orcs insisted on upholding this standard was because it allowed them to make a common excuse for being late - "Sorry, I couldn't figure out what time it was."
With the destruction of planet Orceron, this system fell into disuse and was officially replaced by Union Standard Time, but the system has intermittently seen revival attempts by various Orc groups.
