Photon

The quantum particle of electromagnetic radiation, a photon is a single light wave/particle, whether be it a radio wave, visible light or a gamma ray. Photons belong in the lepton family, and as such are electronically neutral massless particles comprised of pure energy. Two charged particles may interact with each other by exchanging photons.
