Photon Pulse Turrets

The Photon Pulse weapon system, quite often in the form of a turreted gun, is essentially a modified version of a Photon Beam weapon. In this particular weapon system, the photon beam is broken into smaller, rapid series of photon bursts.

The Photon Pulse weapon system is still in use in some Gigerdian second-in-line warships. Even though the La'fin have been known to use photon-based weapons technology, it is currently unknown if they have also developed a Photon Pulse weapon system (in a turreted form or otherwise).
