All creatures are driven by the need to procreate and continue their species. The physiology of some species, however, is such that they can engage in the procreative act for purposes other than reproduction. When one can't find a suitable mate, one can always try to find someone they can pay to engage in the necessary act, provided its level in that society, of course.
