Radio communication

Communications sent by electromagnetic waves at radio wavelengths.

Whilst laser links and tachyonic transmissions can convey more information more efficiently, radio waves remain the favored form of planetary and spacecraft communication in primitive systems with less developed infrastructure, because of the the low tech simplicity of transmission and receiving aerials, and the low amount of energy required to send a message.
