SCR 1845-6357

Jump to navigationJump to searchSCR 1845-6357 is a red dwarf star about 11 light-years away from the Sol system. This star, however, only has a mass of about 7% of Sol.
The star has been found to possess a brown dwarf companion, designated SCR 1845-6357 B. The companion, classified as a T-dwarf, orbits at a distance of 4.5 AUs from the primary, and an estimated surface temperature of 750°C.
