The Sagittarius Dwarf Irregular Galaxy or SagDIG is a dwarf galaxy 3.4 million light-years distant. SagDIG should not be confused with the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy or SagDEG, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way.
