Spike Guns

Spike guns are primitive weapons quite often manufactured by Pirate or Raider groups for use inside Spaceships. They are still, to this date, very popular in the Beta Quadrant Free Zone. These weapons use, as the name suggests, small sharp spikes manufactured of various materials as the ammunition - and the mechanism of the weapon propels the ammunition towards the target at high velocity. These weapons are often used inside spaceships, because the spikes themselves cannot puncture holes on the hull of the ship, unlike energy weapons often do.
