Strong nuclear force

The strong nuclear force is one of the four fundamental forces of the Universe. It is transmitted by the gluon, which transmits colour charge between quarks. Since the gluon is both massless and interacts with itself, the force does not fall off over distance and is very strong compared to the other forces.
