Supreme People's Assembly
From Peace Station Encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Supreme People's Assembly is the parliament of the People's Revolutionary Polity of M'sta Si'ka (PRPMS). It consists of 6687 members, who are popularly elected to serve five year terms (though these elections are widely regarded as undemocratic). According to the Constitution of PRPMS, it is the highest organ of state power, though it is internationally known as a rubber stamp assembly. When the Assembly is not in session the Presidium, nominally elected by the members of the assembly, serves as the country's legislature.
