here's an idea: if something doesn't jive with how you perceive things to be in the current canon, whatever that might be, consider mythologicizing them instead of flat-out deleting things. For an example it's entirely plausible that Jadolf Hitler-Stalin is a story told in the ruins of the human civilization in the aftermath of the Third World War, but not an actual historical being. the Myths category contains other such previously canon but now implausible entries that nevertheless bring color to the setting.

oh and
here's another idea, how about not deleting every image with a vague copyright, because it's there to give us an idea on what the article subject is supposed to look like; with the image lost we have no visual clue what the original intent was. even if its copyrighted, the honest fact is no-one cares. this site has been up for what, three years? four? I've lost count to be honest, but we haven't received a single complaint during that time despite showing up on the first page on google for a lot of things. if someone actually challenges our right to use an image of course we'll delete it but honestly now
