I remember one of the Gigerdian diplomats befriended Shok 36-37, until the situation with Rubek deteriorated back home and the ambassador was relieved of his duties, replaced by the more "cooperative" Section 18 Liaison officer who was given ambassadorial priviledges ... or something along the lines anyway. I'm not sure if the diplomat and "Preston Preston" were the same dude?

I honestly don't have an idea on this one.

I really can't remember anything about the situation at the time. There was a Preston Preston and a Section 18 dude, but it is possible that Mr. Preston got reassigned due to his political views or something. Have to think this over.
