Is one HFed year like 3.1 --> 3.2? Or is this a single rotation?

If it's a year then is there about 77 Earth years between the beginning of the war to the construction of the PS?

Yeah, 3,1 -> 3,2 is supposed to be one year.

The date for the end of the First Bacterian War could be changed to a later date. There needs to be time between the two events to allow for rebuilding of the United Orcs, though. 15 years?

15 years causes problems with Mad and Kyle. Me and Dalleer were thinking about a timespan of 7 years.

Seven years is pretty tough. It basically means the the UO government is still in a state of complete disarray by the time the Station goes online - just seven years after a massive holocaust, billions dead and complete destruction of infrastructure on most worlds.

I guess that could be used to explain why the government collapsed during the station's first year. Although, I was thinking it was more an political/economical collapse - something similar to the current euro crisis of the European Union - not a direct result of the war. This needs further consideration, I think ... especially from the perspective of the Independent Hemmoians, a separatist faction that develops into a major government of its own all in the space between the end of the 1stBW - PS season 1. For all of that to happen in seven years is kind of pushing it.

It's difficult indeed. The problem with Mad and Kyle is that they participated in the Bacterian war (as indicated in the adventures) so there can't be too many years between the war and PS. I'd say that 10 years is probably a maximum although it's pretty long too. Though currently there is no information as to what Kyle and Mad actually did after the adventures. The adventures themselves probably took a year, or at most two.
