So, what, the reason for the Beta Quadrant conflict changed now too?

Not too much, though.

Well, the reason for the GA's involvement still remains the same. I mean, just one of those Almasy-classes can't be the reason for the conflict alone, and to think of it, chances for something as small as the IPA for at the time to able to actually hijack or in other ways capture one of the GA's state-of-the-art vessels sounds a bit sketchy to me. These things wouldn't be that easy to just drive out of the docks, anyway. And you'd think that vessels of that prize, size and technological level would have some sort of a switch for an automatic self-destruction sequence or the sorts for situations when someone would try to fiddle with its' systems. And to think that a vessel like that would've been "handed over" to the IPA-people just like that despite the declaration of war. You'd think that the crew would've reacted somehow.

Now, surely the GA was "in it" for the equipment that the IPA had illegally obtained from the GA prior to the hostalities. Naturally there had to be alot stuff to be pissed off about even if we count out that flagship. I mean, entire colony worlds joined the IPA, and along with it some serious amount of equipment, ships, manpower and the sorts changed hands.

Thus, it don't seem to change much from my POW.
