The Neurosphere is a gigantic one-of-a-kind spherical object, 24 000 km in diameter. It was originally constructed as a facility for transforming consciousnesses of the Hemmoian Collective into an immaterial pure energy form, as well as holding backups of the billions upon billions of minds recorded in the Collective archives. As such, it is the single most advanced computer system in the known Galaxy, an incomprehebsibly vast neural network of almost limitless computing potential.
Large sections of the station are dedicated to storing programmable nanomatter, a substance that can be transformed to any form by the use of nanobots. It is thus capable of replicating nearly any type of matter in the Universe.
The station employs the newest stealth generators, cloaking devices, and inertial dampening fields to render it completely invisible to any scanners. Thanks to the inertial damping field, it will not even produce any gravitational distortion, even while it is a planet-sized object.
The station also has a molecular anti-matter shielding system, which transforms everything it touches to nanomatter which can be used to construct anything.
While the Neurosphere is a symbol of the Hemmoian Federation's power and technological advancement, it is rarely seen. Some have even voiced doubts regarding its existence, but several eyewitnesses claim to have seen it constructed in the orbit of Ta'mag II.
