XarConSec

XarConSec was the security organization of the Xaron Consortium. It included a military grade space fleet and armed forces, as well as lighter police units. Eventually, with the foundation of the V3 Alliance, the military assets were integrated into the V3 Mobile Space Asset Force.

Many XarCon military ships differ from those of the UO in that they have a built-in automated override for combat, manoeuvring and life support systems (at the very least), which allows XCS CEOs to assume remote command of the ships from afar.

The Xaron Consortium maintained control of its territory through widespread fear of punishment in their own population, a task which generally fell to XarConSec units. These were billed as Regulations Enforcement (RegEnf) missions, and targets typically branded as being in breach of contract with the Consortium.
