The Bacterian brain parasite is a fiendish Bacterian biological weapon organism, capable of latching on to a subject and taking control over its brain functions. Extremely hard to remove and very deadly. Used extensively during the First Bacterian War in the Siege of Aldaain as well as against several colony worlds, including Umitaf 478.

Biology

This life form appears to have a simple structure with no distinguishable organs apart from an efficient heart and cardiovascular system. The life span of a brain parasite is typically very short, unless it manages to find a host.

They have no reproduction system. Instead it attacks victims by grasping the head with its claws and inserting its tendrils directly into the brain. The victim is subsequently transformed into a Bacterian controlled entity.
