Nix Balmorra

Nix Balmorra is a former GA military officer, ambassador, branded traitor to the GA, father of the first Gigerdian-Bacterian twins, freedom fighter and the president of the Inter-stellar alliance.

Nix Balmorra served in the GA military at an early age. He was however more interested of diplomatic relations and was thus transferred to the GA diplomatic corps. From there he was assigned to the Peace Station during the station's final year as a functioning diplomatic entity. He befriended the Bacterian ambassador, Lydia Bakteeri during his posting as the Gigerdian ambassador. Before this he had been married with Needah Tesrek, a female military officer in the GA military.

At the beginning of the Gigerdian-Bacterian war he re-established contact with Lydia Bakteeri and they fled from the Bacterian territories to a safe haven. During their time with the Bacterian forces in hiding, Nix was completely unaware of the distress that had fallen upon the GA when President Rubek had forcibly taken the government over. Nix did however manage to produce two Gigerdian-Bacterian twins with Lydia.

Upon hearing the news of Rubek's totalitarian rule, Nix decided to act by attempting to convince as many GA fleet captains with him to overthrow Rubek. He even gained limited support from the Bacterians , Hemmoians and several member states of the GA. The following liberation campaign is known as the GA Civil War.

As Nix commanded the Gigerdian flagship G.A.S. Sanctuary along with his fleets to Gigerdi Prime the resulting battle proved to be instrumental for the war-effort: he stopped President Rubek from detonating a system-killer device inside one of the planetary defence grid satellites and thus destroying the whole system.

After the battle, Nix surrendered to the GA military and he was interrogated by government officials. The resulting situation left Nix officially "retiring" from the GA military and thus avoiding official military court martials due to his actions as a GA officer acting against his own species. By retiring, he also signed a treaty, which branded Nix a "civilian acting with Bacterian forces to overthrow the GA government".

Nix returned to Bacterius with Lydia where the three major starpowers signed a treaty to form the Inter-stellar alliance, the strongest trade and military union second to none. Nix became the president of the council for this alliance.
