UOSF Letav

Built at the start of the Third Age, the UOSF Letav was one of the few UOSF vessels to survive the First Bacterian War undamaged. The Letav was an unarmed population transport.

Role in the HemmoCruiser Incident

With the outbreak of the First Bacterian War, the Letav departed from the Tooled Hemmo system in 3,0024, carrying a full complement of refugees.

The Letav missed the rendezvous on The Refuge, as the UOSF HemmoCruiser III was already heading for the Outer Rim when the starship reached the sector. A new rendezvous point was discussed, but the HemmoCruiser III never made it as the transmissions between the two ships were picked up by Gigerdi Federation forces, who proceeded to intercept and destroy the HC-III in what is known as the HemmoCruiser Incident.

As the First Bacterian War ended soon afterwards, the Letav was able to return home.
