Capital City Transit Authority
The Capital City Transit Authority was a public agency that operated transit services in the Capital City metropolitan area on Orceron.
CCTA provided a rapid transit service under the xxx name, fixed-route bus service under the xxx brand, and paratransit service under the xxx] brand. The authority is also partially responsible for the upkeep of the TransTunnel network. CCTA had its own police force, the CCTA Security Department.
The authority's Council of Directors consisted of representatives from each of the Capital City's districts. It had no independent taxation authority and depended on the City for operating subsidies.
In addition to its own operations, the CCTA participated in the operations of the Örnömocchus Cosmodrome.
Like all local Orceronian agencies, the CCTA ceased to exist during the Great Cataclysm of Orceron. Conductor Ovaap Resrek of the CCTA accidentally managed to save several key figures of the UO government during this crisis.
