History
Colonization
Originally known simply as Peredel IV (RSA-018-4), the planet was first named by Orcish space pioneer Refremmon Oldsaka, who called it Chort. Oldsaka was also the first to found an encampment on the planet, known as Dawamo, which would eventually grow into a sprawling metropolis.
Another settlement called CCMölö was later set up by a traveling orc clan.
Initially an independent colony, Chort later elected to join the United Orcs during the V3 War, becoming a full colony.
First Bacterian War
When the Bacterian Empire launched its extermination campaign against the United Orcs, Chort became one of the many battlefields of the First Bacterian War.
Under the Hemmoian Federation
Chort was largely unaffected by such conflicts as the Lightness War and the Hemmoian Civil War.
