The Hemmoian equivalent of a standard day, a cycle is somewhat longer. The unit is calculated from the equatorial time zone of Aldaain, forming the base for the UST/HFed Standard Time specification.

Each Hemmoian year is composed of 100 cycles, with each cycle further divided into ten segments ("dates") of approximately 0,26071 standard days, or about 6 hours and 15 minutes. Thus each year can be divided into 1000 units.

Comparison to other units

Each HFed cycle is about 2,6071 standard days.
