Eta Carinae Nebula
From Peace Station Encyclopedia
Jump to navigationJump to searchIn one of the brightest parts of the Milky Way lies a nebula where some of the oddest things occur. NGC 3372, known by humans as the Great Nebula in Carina, is home to massive stars and changing nebulae. It includes the massive Eta Carinae and the Keyhole Nebula, visible near the center.
The entire region measures 60 light years across.
